My journey into the land of UX design and research began with my background as an IT field technician.  On a daily basis, my main responsibility was assisting our clients’ end users with hardware and software technical problems.  While troubleshooting the issues, I had often found myself wondering why certain software and applications were not more intuitively designed with users in mind to prevent common issues from occurring and make the experience less frustrating.  My time as a technician taught me a great deal about engaging and empathizing with users.  

 

As time went on, I grew more and more interested in the user-centered approach of research and design.  This eventually inspired me to take the leap and transition into a User Experience Professional, and as such, I aim to create solutions that empower and enable users to achieve their goals in the most impactful and efficient way.

Outside of design and work, I am immersed in the world of artistic endeavors such as music and photography.  In my free time, I enjoy hiking, video games, playing guitar and learning how to compose music.
